Two bedrooms have queen beds, our bunk room has 2 bunk beds and there is a double bed in the bedroom next to the screened in porch. This bedroom is away from the others and is very private. If there is a need for additional sleeping accommodations the leather couch in the living room is a queen sleeper sofa. There is also a large foot stool that pulls out into a twin bed. The lake has a beautiful sandy bottom and we have steps down from the seawall that lead to the lake which is shallow for another 50-60 yards. It is a great place for the kids to splash around. We have 4 kayaks for your use which are available at no charge for your enjoyment. The house is on a quiet road with very little traffic. Hikers, bikers and walkers can enjoy over 300 miles of multi terrain trails, over 500,000 acres of state and national forest. Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac are connected by the Clam Lake Canal and there are many parks in the area. The golfer in the family can enjoy a choice of 7 golf courses. We are 15 minutes from downtown where there are many quaint places to shop and stroll.

Our cabins are a cross between a rustic sporting cabin from the road-side motel era and a simple vintage boutique get-away. Outside: Large grassy areas in the back and center of the property, picnic areas with tables and charcoal grills located at or near each cabin. Community Fire pit with log seating (firewood available onsite for small charge). Parking at the back of the property for your snowmobiles, boats, ORV's or other sports equipment. Snow Removal: Our grounds-keeper provides snow removal that clears the driveway, parking area and walkway to the cabin entry. Snow removal is triggered after any event causing 4" or more of accumulation since last removal. There may be occasions where there are a few inches of snow on the driveway and walkway and can get icy. A snow shovel and salt are available in the open garage. Please be careful. MUST KNOW: Occupancy: Due to fire codes and cabin size, occupancy limits are strictly enforced, additional guests are not allowed. The patio doors open to a large upper deck where you take in a Cadillac sunrise or watch the activity on the beach. To give ultimate comfort, and an 'Up North' lodge feeling, we have it furnished with rustic log furniture and a 51" plasma flat screen TV. To complete the home, we have also brought in La-Z-Boy sofas & recliners for your complete comfort. Tasteful accents & decorations will compliment the furnishings, and meticulous housekeeping will make you feel right at home. A fourth TV, a pool table, and foosball & air hockey tables are located in the rec room as well. Step out into the 1/2 acre manicured lawn that has 122ft of sandy beach front. The lake is shallow near the shore with a sandy bottom...great for swimming and watersports. Beach volleyball, cornhole and a campfire pit are available for guest use. Chaise loungers, lawn chairs, two picnic tables, a 6 person patio set, and a propane Weber BBQ grill are provided for your convenience. If you are into fishing, you have come to the right lake! Bass, Pike, Perch, Specs, and Bluegill are plentiful. A rowboat comes with the rental. We offer two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards and paddleboat for rent by the day or week for your enjoyment on the lake. We are literally minutes from the Fred Meijer Pine trail where your family can enjoy miles of walking, biking or snowmobiing. We are also a short walking distance from the groomed scenic conservacy trail that allows you to explore the areas around our lake. Views of rolling hills, trees, and the lakes with only one neighbor on a side? That is what you get when you stay at the Lanser cottage. Relax on the large deck (450sq ft) that is right on the water's edge and watch the summer sun set over the lake. Stoneledge Lake is a private lake and is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing setting for your vacation. The cottage has everything for your vacation besides your toys, food and drinks. Everything else is included. There is a dock very close to the deck for fishing etc. There is rowboat as well as a paddleboat for your use. Please supply your own lifejackets and life preservers.
